The City of Mountain Home, Arkansas, in coordination with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), is conducting an online virtual public hearing. This 45-day hearing presents information and requests comments on an Environmental Assessment for a proposed Lake Norfork water intake and pipeline. This proposed project will provide a water supply system to meet current and future needs and address water quality issues within Mountain Home and Baxter County.

 


Virtual Public Hearing Overview

This project website provides information explaining the proposed project, the ability to view and download meeting materials including the Environmental Assessment, and the opportunity to provide comments. Comments will be accepted December 5, 2021 through January 19, 2022.

In addition to materials on this website, the Environmental Assessment is available for public review at the following locations.

  • Mountain Home City Hall: 720 S. Hickory Street, Mountain Home

  • Mountain Home Water Department: 752 N. College Street, Mountain Home
